New London Architecture has just posted information on an exciting survey being carried out into the future of London Workplaces and will co-incide with a series of events on the topic. Check out their web site for more information.

From the NLA web site:

This Autumn, NLA will launch WRK / LDN, a major Insight Study, exhibition and events programme examining the changing nature of work in London, and its impact on future offices and spaces of the city.

‘Work’ has shaped large parts of London’s urban landscape – from great
Victorian warehouses to huge modern logistics sheds; from 17th century coffee houses to the steel and glass towers of the City cluster; and from railway arch workshops to digital fables. Today, the entire city – streets, cafés, public spaces and homes – is a place of work.  As the speed of technological change accelerates, the boundaries between working, living and leisure become ever more blurred.
