Sligo Design Week, Nov 7th – 13th 2016

Leo will be giving a lecture at this years Sligo Design Week on Monday 7th November at 3.15pm in the Glasshouse Hotel. ‘Understanding Design Thinking in 60 Minutes’ will cover the essential Design Thinking Methods for anyone with an interest in Design and will also touch on digital fabrication since it influences so much of what design is today.
There are lots of other events and lectures during the week so if you are in the area please come along and support design in the North West !

We are delighted to announce Sligo Design Week returns from November 7th through to 13th. This year’s programme is a design-led feast of seven days featuring design talks, film screenings, workshops, networking opportunities, live street art, a new retail trail and much more. Our venue partners IT Sligo host two design films ‘Design Disruptors’ and ‘Maker’, as well as our hugely successful panel on Creative Entrepreneurship. The Hawk’s Well Theatre host a special talk with theatre and set designer Frank Conway, and we have numerous
networking events and opportunities throughout the week for Sligo’s design community to connect.
